建仔雖因傷在大聯盟沉寂了幾年，但魅力不減，昨得知建仔將向中華隊報到，不少球迷聞風而至聚集在立德球場，盼一睹建仔風采。建仔一抵達球場，球迷就驚呼聲不斷，建仔牛棚練投時，場外也聚集了數百球迷(見圖)拿出手機拍照，建仔所到之處，都能聽到球迷高喊：「王建民加油！」 (楊逸民)
