智慧手機機皇寶座壽命漸短，在HTC、三星和SONY打得火熱時，各大廠已準備下一代強機應戰，皆強調拍照為重點。下周Google和NOKIA傳將發表新機，另外，傳聞中相機畫素達1300萬的iPhone 5S、SONY採Cyber-Shot相機技術的Xperia i1，以及三星防水版S4也將參戰，炒熱智慧手機市場。

台灣時間5/16凌晨，Google將於舊金山辦年度開發者大會，據傳將發表下一代Google原生機Nexus 5，搭載至少5吋1080P螢幕，高通驍龍800 2.3GHz四核心處理器、1300萬畫素等，並支援4G LTE，若傳聞屬實，將是市場上最強智慧手機。但也傳出僅發表升級版Nexus 4，容量升至32GB，支援4G LTE。
智慧手機愈趨強調拍照功能，NOKIA傳將於台灣時間5/14下午在倫敦發表3款Windows Phone 8新機，包括主打低光源拍攝的Lumia 928，而盛傳Catwalk及EOS兩款新機傳也將同步亮相，Catwalk傳搭載4.5吋螢幕，1.5GHz四核心處理器，具F2.0大光圈、870萬畫素相機；EOS傳將搭載Symbian時代808 PureView機款的4100萬畫素相機。
而SONY將倚賴旗下Cyber-Shot相機技術，傳下半年推Xperia i1拍照智慧強機，搭載2000萬畫素、1/1.6吋感光元件，自家相機專用的BIONZ影像處理晶片、SONY G鏡頭，力抗各家強機。
多彩版iPhone 5S 傳上市
至於鋒頭漸失的iPhone，料將在6月WWDC全球開發者大會端出iPhone 5S，傳維持和iPhone 5相同的4吋螢幕，但增指紋辨識、相機升至1300萬畫素，支援雙鏡頭拍攝，搭載最新iOS 7作業系統，提供iPod touch般多彩配色。而在台甫開賣的三星S4也傳下半年將推防水防塵的強化版，但外型不變。至於HTC則無新強機消息，雖傳將推紅色版新HTC One，但台灣官方不願證實此事。
